Samarkand Suzani Silk Embroidered Cushion

Exuding artisanal flair through handcrafted details and intricate forms, this silk embroidered cushion displays a handwoven SUZANI pattern. Golden tones shimmer in a prominent motif with glistening blues, reds, and yellows bringing an opulent feel to the cushion. Our authentic, handmade suzani cushion covers originate in Nurata, Uzbekistan.
The intricate, colourful pattern is drawn onto the heavy cotton base fabric before embroidering happens. Common motifs include flowers, leaves, fruits, particularly pomegranate.
