Ianthe Bloom Multi Cotton Velvet in Dark Pewter

Designed by French artist R. Beauclair in c.1902 and first printed for Liberty in 1967, Ianthe is an iconic example of Art Nouveau design, with its highly stylised flowers arranged into a sinuous layout. It is expertly printed in Italy onto our cotton velvet – the perfect base for rich, saturated tones and bright colours, with a robust structure and exceptional abrasion rating that’s well-suited for high-traffic contract use. Its elegant drape also makes it ideal for heavier curtains with blackout or draft-excluding qualities.

The Modern Archive Collection from Liberty Fabrics Interiors celebrates the brand’s long-standing legacy as the home of design. The collection’s six colour stories pay homage to the passions of the collector and the beautiful objects that have long been curated within Liberty’s wood-panelled walls. Pewter, Lapis, Lichen, Lacquer, Jade and Dragonfly tell the story of the emporium through the ages, uniting a diverse archive of hand-drawn designs. Each one has been reinterpreted and reimagined for the next generation of Liberty furnishing fabrics.
